All the rumores about Nvidia’s GTX 295 card have been put to rest as Nvidia has officially released their GTX 295 and GTX 285 cards of enthusiast level and with the announcement of this new card, ATI’s HD4870 X2 has been dethroned and GTX 295 is the new king of GPUs. This fierce competition between Nvidia and ATI has resulted in continuously improved product offerings from both GPU manufacturers.

Based on Nvidia’s GT200b chip this card has the power of two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 200 GPUs on a single card, it’s a dual slot design with two Dual-Link DVI-I and one HDMI port, this card supports PCI-E 2.0 x16 bus and requires one eight-pin and one six-pin power connector.
It’s height is 4.376-inches (111mm) and length is 10.5-inches (267mm). This GPU can handle maximum temperature of 105C and it consume maximum of 289Watts power and minimum of 680Watts power supply is required to run this graphic card.

This card is also dual slot design and of same length and height as GTX295 but it has two six-pin power connectors with a minimum requirement of 550W power supply. This GPU can handle maximum temperature of 105C same as GTX 295 and it consume maximum of 183Watts of power.
