GTX 295 is out, Nvidia’s third dual GPU card, following the GeForce 7950 GX2 and 9800 GX2 and ready to rumble with ATI’s champion HD 4870 X2, both are dual chip based cards. ATI/AMD choose the design of dual chips named R700 placed on a single printed circuit board (PCB). On the other hand Nvidia placed each chip named GT200 on it’s own pcb with a large heatsink and fan placed right in the middle of both pcb’s. So, GTX295 has launched and all the manufacturers have released GTX 295 cards, almost all of them have reference design except EVGA.
